20. My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult

I just now realized that I never reviewed this one, so I'm sorry that I don't remember any of the character's names.

The perfect family - mom, dad, one son, and one daughter. But the daughter has cancer. The cancer could be put into remission if only one of the family members were a perfect donor match. Should they have another child to try for a chance at that perfect donor match? Well, whether they should or not, they did.

Now, the second daughter is older and is asking her parents to stop forcing her to donate to her sister whose cancer keeps coming back. The parents don't understand how she could be so insensitive to her sister's needs, but she's gotten a lawyer and is asking for medical emancipation.

There were some things that disappointed me about this story, but there was a couple of things that I really liked. I didn't really like the end, and I felt like it was a little bit of a cheap way to get out of a difficult decision.
