07. The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells

I've always been curious about writing from the latter part of the 19th Century, specifically Wells. He captured a timeless quality of what people thought was possible, while at the same time being very of his time and...well, somewhat dated. The vocabulary, attitudes, and science make it somewhat alien to me in 2010.

I don't have a lot to say about this one. It's pretty good. Very descriptive and adventurous. A quick read, and I liked it.
