I really enjoyed the Time Traveler's Wife and as looking forward to this second book by the same author.

In the book, after Elspeth dies, she leaves her London flat to her twin nieces, Julia and Valentina, who must live there for a year before they sell it if they wish. During the year the twins meet Elspeth's lover, Robert, her neighbor, Martin, learn about Highgate Cemetery which is adjacent to the flat, and eventually realize the Elspeth's ghost is still in the flat. I felt the characters were unique, well developed and for as surreal as the plot was, the relationship between sisters, friends and lovers seemed grounded in reality.

I enjoyed the first 3/4 of the book and even recommended it to friends; but the ending was really bizarre - even for the premise of the book. It's tough to decide if I enjoyed the first part of the book enough to make up for as much as I didn't like the ending. I don't think I would recommend the book now that I have finished it.
